The i-PET project – Intelligent PET system for preclinical imaging – aims to develop an intelligent PET scanner for preclinical imaging with an innovative acquisition method that reduces the complexity and cost of these systems and improves the quality of the images obtained by intelligently detecting and scanning specific regions of interest.
